Afghan Business Delegation Visits Auto Parts Manufacturers in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A business visit of a delegation of Afghan entrepreneurs specializing in the trade of automobiles, spare parts, and components is underway in Tashkent.
As part of the program organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan together with the Tashkent City Administration, business representatives reviewed the capabilities of Uzbek manufacturers and discussed prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation.
One of the key events was a visit to the Scopus Mall commercial complex in the Uchtepa district, where guests were presented with the conditions created for trading automotive spare parts. The delegation also viewed an exhibition of products from more than 40 domestic enterprises producing automotive components and accessories.
During the meetings, Uzbek manufacturers and Afghan entrepreneurs addressed establishing direct trade contacts, increasing export volumes, and developing mutually beneficial cooperation.
In addition, the delegation visited the Winiron Oil Industry joint venture in the Chilanzar district. Guests were shown the production process for motor oils and automotive filters under the Winiron brand, as well as the plant's production capacities, modern equipment, and quality control system.
Following the talks, the management of the enterprise and representatives of Afghan business discussed potential product deliveries to the Afghan market and the further expansion of trade and economic ties between companies of the two countries.
