Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A business delegation from Uzbekistan's Samarkand Region visited the Grodnoinvest Free Economic Zone (FEZ) in Belarus on 29 July 2026 to explore its investment, industrial, and trade-economic potential, as well as establish direct contact with resident enterprises, according to Grodnoinvest FEZ.

During a business meeting at the Grodnoinvest FEZ administration, Deputy Head of Administration Olga Sventitskaya presented business opportunities within the zone and the Augustow Canal Special Tourist and Recreational Park to the Uzbek entrepreneurs.

The event brought together resident enterprises of Grodnoinvest FEZ and companies from the Grodno Region. Participants discussed business conditions, promising areas of cooperation, and opportunities for expanding partnership ties between enterprises in the Grodno and Samarkand regions.

As part of the visit, representatives of the Uzbek delegation held working meetings with OJSC "Holding Company Management Company 'GrodnoOblselkhoztekhnika'" and OJSC "Holding Company Management Company 'Grodnomyasomolprom'". Company representatives briefed the guests on their production capacities, product ranges, and export potential.

Following the meetings, B2B negotiations took place to discuss specific avenues of interaction and prospects for increasing mutual trade turnover. A product presentation featuring meat and dairy enterprises was also organized for the participants.

The administration of Grodnoinvest FEZ continues to strengthen cooperation with regions of Uzbekistan.

Earlier, a business delegation from the Andijan Region visited the zone, and the Grodnoinvest FEZ administration signed a cooperation agreement with the Andijan Regional Khokimiyat during the 3rd Forum of Regions of Belarus and Uzbekistan.
