Parliamentary elections to be held on 27 December 2009

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Central Election Commission of Uzbekistan said the election campaign to Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis, regional, district and city People’s Deputies’ Council will start on 22 September.

The election will be held on 27 December 2009 in line with the article 117 of the Constitution of Uzbekistan.

The commission adopted the regulations and instruction, regulating election process.
