Pakhtakor receives gold medals of Uzbek league

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- A ceremony of handing over gold medals of Uzbekistan to Pakhtakor was held in Tashkent, the press service of Pakhtakor said.

Pakhtakor won the league for the 10th time this season and received gold medals during the ceremony. President of Uzbekistan Football Federation and National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan Mirabror Usmanov opened the ceremony and underlined achievements of young players of the club and wished luck in new season.

Coaches and management of the club were also awarded. The team received a cheque for 500 million soums.

At the ceremony, congratulation message of the FIFA Sepp Blatter to Pakhtakor in connection with the 10th title of Uzbek league was delivered to the players.

Pakhtakor manager Samvel Babayan said that each employees of the club contributed to historic victory of the club.

He said that Pakhtakor will fight to win all tournaments, in which it will participate.
