Oman Air launches direct Muscat–Tashkent flights

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Oman Air, the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, will launch direct scheduled flights on the Muscat–Tashkent–Muscat route starting from 2 June 2026, according to information on the expansion of Tashkent International Airport’s route network.

Flights will operate three times a week — on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The airline plans to use Boeing 737 aircraft for the route.

It is noted that Oman Air’s entry into the Uzbekistan market is seen as another stage in the development of the country’s international air connectivity and the strengthening of transport links with Middle Eastern states.

The new route will provide passengers with additional opportunities for tourism and business travel, as well as transit flights through Muscat International Airport to destinations across Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.

Oman Air is the national airline of the Sultanate of Oman and is based at Muscat International Airport. The carrier is a member of the global aviation alliance oneworld, which also includes British Airways and Qatar Airways.
