Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — On 9 June, an official welcome ceremony was held at the Kuksaroy residence for the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic, Robert Fico, who is on an official visit to Uzbekistan.
A ceremonial guard of honor was lined up on the square in front of the residence. President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev warmly welcomed the distinguished guest and invited him to the podium.
The military orchestra performed the national anthems of Uzbekistan and Slovakia. The two leaders reviewed the guard of honor and greeted members of the official delegations from both countries.
Following the ceremony and the traditional photo session, high-level talks between the two sides commenced.
