Number of Pensioners in Uzbekistan Increases by 630,000 Over Five Years

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — According to data from the National Committee on Statistics of Uzbekistan, the number of pensioners in the country reached 4.2 million in 2024. This marks an increase of 93,900 people, or 2.3%, compared to the previous year.

The growth in the number of pensioners in Uzbekistan has shown a consistent upward trend in recent years.

Specifically, there were 3.61 million pensioners in 2020, 3.78 million in 2021, 3.97 million in 2022, and 4.15 million in 2023. Thus, over a five-year period, the number of pensioners increased by more than 630,000.
