New Textile Plant Launched in Uchqurghon District

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A new industrial enterprise, LLC “Uchqo‘rg‘on tekstil,” has been commissioned in the Uchqurghon district on the basis of UZTEX GROUP, marking another step in the development of the region’s textile industry.

The facility is equipped with modern machinery and is focused on the production of yarn for denim fabric, which is in high demand on global markets. The use of three-thread integration technology will expand the product range, improve quality, and strengthen competitiveness in export markets.

The total cost of the project amounts to US$10 million. As part of its implementation, 270 new jobs have been created, providing stable income opportunities for local residents, including youth and people from remote areas of the district.

The opening ceremony took place in a formal setting with the participation of community representatives, entrepreneurs, and industry specialists. It was noted that such projects contribute to the development of regional industrial capacity and the expansion of export potential.

The event was attended by Namangan region governor Shavkatjon Abdurazzoqov and company founder Farkhodjon Mamajanov, who emphasized the importance of systematic industrial development, job creation, and support for investment initiatives.

After the official opening, guests were introduced to the production processes, and the facility was formally launched.

It was also noted that working conditions at the enterprise include medical services, organized meals, and transport infrastructure.

A job fair for graduates and unemployed youth was also held on the company premises.
