New Manufacturing Facility with Chinese Investment to Open in Yangi Avlod Industrial Zone

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A tripartite investment agreement has been signed in Tashkent between the management of the "Yangi Avlod" special industrial zone, the Hokimiyat (administration) of the Sergeli district, and the Chinese company ZHONG XIN STEEL.

The total value of the investment package amounts to US$3.1 million.

The signed document is aimed at actively attracting foreign direct investment into the capital's industrial sector, expanding the scope of international industrial cooperation, and qualitatively building up the region's production potential.

Under the framework of the agreement, the deployment of new manufacturing capacities is planned on the territory of the special industrial zone. This initiative will enable the creation of additional jobs and integrate modern foreign technologies into the local production cycle.
