Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In 2024, museums across Uzbekistan were visited by 4.8 million people.

According to the National Statistics Committee, as of January 1, 2025, the country had 138 museums, including their branches. Among the visitors, 1.4 million were foreign tourists.

The most visited institutions were the Samarkand State Museum-Reserve with 1,035,325 visitors, the Registan Ensemble Directorate with 908,225, the State Museum of Glory and Honor with 656,355, the Bukhara State Museum-Reserve with 489,208, and the Ichan-Kala State Museum-Reserve with 456,917 visitors.
