Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Motorola, a Lenovo company, has unveiled a new lineup of devices at IFA 2026, including the motorola edge 70 plus smartphone, moto watch ultra smartwatch, moto snap wireless charger and a special edition of the foldable motorola razr featuring Swarovski crystals.
The new products combine performance, artificial intelligence-powered features and distinctive design, Motorola said.
motorola edge 70 plus: 200 MP camera and 6,500 mAh battery
The flagship motorola edge 70 plus features a quad-curved body, a 6.78-inch Extreme AMOLED display and the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 mobile platform. The smartphone is also equipped with a 6,500 mAh battery and a camera system featuring a 200 MP main sensor — the highest-resolution sensor Motorola has ever used in its cameras.
The main camera supports optical image stabilization, Pantone Validated certification for color and skin tone accuracy, 10x Super Zoom and 4K video recording. A dedicated macro camera is designed for close-up shots of small objects and details.
The front camera features a 32 MP sensor and AI-powered optimization functions. When switching from portrait to landscape mode, it automatically changes to group mode with a wider field of view.
The camera also supports 4K video recording with adaptive stabilization.
On the software side, Motorola uses the Photo Enhancement Engine, which analyzes images and helps preserve details. AI functions operate in the background, allowing users to capture photos and videos without constantly adjusting settings manually.
Battery life and charging
According to Motorola, the 6,500 mAh battery provides up to 42 hours of talk time, up to 34 hours of video streaming or up to 23 hours of social media use. The smartphone supports 45W TurboPower charging.
A bypass charging mode is available for gaming. It powers the smartphone during a gaming session, reducing the risk of overheating and negative effects on battery longevity.
Cooling is handled by a vapor chamber that dissipates heat faster than standard cooling systems.
This is designed to help maintain a comfortable body temperature during intensive multitasking and gaming.
Display and design
The 6.78-inch Extreme AMOLED display features four curved edges, enhanced contrast, deep blacks and rich color reproduction. The refresh rate reaches 144 Hz.
Audio is provided by two large stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio certification. Dolby Atmos support delivers immersive sound.
Motorola developed the device’s design in collaboration with the Pantone Color Institute. The motorola edge 70 plus will be available in four versions: PANTONE Mountain View with a silk-like finish, PANTONE Gray Lilac with an acetate finish, and PANTONE Milky Blue and PANTONE Sage with leather-like finishes.
The body meets military durability standards. The smartphone is designed to operate in extreme temperatures, high humidity and at high altitudes. Drop protection and twice the scratch resistance are provided in part by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
Performance and AI features
The motorola edge 70 plus is equipped with 8 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of storage. AI-powered RAM Boost is designed to provide smoother multitasking.
Users also get access to Google Gemini and Gemini Live. The tools support text, voice, photos and camera functions, including generating ideas, learning, composing emails and planning various tasks.
Circle to Search allows users to search for information about an object directly on the screen by circling, tapping or otherwise selecting it without opening a separate application.
moto watch ultra gets Polar features
Alongside the smartphone, Motorola introduced the moto watch ultra smartwatch with health and fitness monitoring features. The company again collaborated with Polar on the software capabilities.
The watch includes tools for stress monitoring, sleep analysis, workouts, physical activity and calorie expenditure. Polar features include Serene, Nightly Recharge and Sleep Plus Stages.
Serene uses breathing exercises and real-time biofeedback to show the time spent by the user in three relaxation zones and how closely their breathing matches the optimal rhythm.
Nightly Recharge combines assessments of sleep quality and autonomic nervous system recovery. Sleep Plus Stages tracks the duration of different sleep stages, including light, deep and REM sleep.
Daily activity tracking features include Activity Goal, Activity Score, Active Intensity Zones and Inactivity Alert. Smart Calories estimates calories burned based on heart rate, wrist movement, weight and age.
Energy Sources analyzes the body’s use of fats, carbohydrates and proteins during workouts. For runners, Running Coach provides running and walking training programs and helps monitor pace.
Smartphone-free connectivity
The moto watch ultra is the first moto watch with LTE support. Users can make and receive calls, send messages and receive notifications without having their smartphone with them.
Google Pay is supported for purchases after adding a bank card to Google Wallet. A dual-band GPS system is designed for navigation and location tracking.
The watch runs on Wear OS by Google and provides access to the Google Play Store. Users can install Google Maps, Google Messages, YouTube Music, Google Gemini and other applications.
The moto watch ultra is also Motorola’s first wearable device with the built-in Motorola Qira system, which is compatible with certain Motorola and Lenovo devices. Users can interact with the system by raising their wrist or saying “Hey Qira.”
The watch is powered by the Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 platform. It features a 1.5-inch OLED display with brightness of up to 2,700 nits and support for always-on display functionality.
The 46 mm case is made of stainless steel. The watch is compatible with third-party 22 mm straps.
IP68 protection and water resistance up to 5 ATM allow the device to be used during pool workouts, in the rain and during hot yoga. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
With always-on display mode disabled, the moto watch ultra can operate for up to two days on a single charge. According to Motorola, 15 minutes of charging provides up to 24 hours of active use.
moto snap wireless charger
Motorola also introduced the moto snap wireless charger. It is designed for compatible Motorola devices and other devices supporting the Qi standard.
When used with Qi2.2 devices, the charger provides up to 25W of wireless power. Compatible Motorola devices support charging at up to 30W through the company’s proprietary protocol.
The package includes a 1.5-meter braided USB Type-C cable. The charger is compatible with magnetic cases.
Magnetic alignment provides precise connection between the smartphone and charging pad. The device is also optimized to reduce heat during charging and does not consume power in standby mode. Overheating and overcharging protection are included.
motorola razr with Swarovski crystals
Another Motorola launch was a special edition of the foldable motorola razr featuring Swarovski crystals. The device is part of the Brilliant collection, which combines technology, design and premium styling elements.
The smartphone comes in the PANTONE Meteorite color. The rear panel features a quilted leather-like texture, while 35 Silver Night Swarovski crystals are individually set by hand.
A signature 32-faceted Swarovski crystal is placed on the hinge and reflects light when the device is opened. The package includes a transparent protective case designed to preserve the smartphone’s appearance.
The foldable razr features a 3.6-inch external display that can be used to launch applications, view notifications and reply to messages. When unfolded, the device has a 6.9-inch Extreme AMOLED display.
The main camera consists of two 50 MP sensors and includes AI-powered features. According to Motorola, the 4,800 mAh battery provides more than 36 hours of use on a single charge.
Availability and prices
The motorola edge 70 plus will go on sale in selected European and Middle Eastern countries in the coming weeks. Motorola said prices and launch dates for specific markets will be announced separately.
The moto watch ultra will also go on sale in selected countries across Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, North America and the Asia-Pacific region in the coming weeks.
The recommended starting price will be 429 euros.
The moto snap wireless charger will become available in selected European, Middle Eastern, Latin American and Asia-Pacific markets in the coming weeks. The recommended starting price will be 39 euros.
