Main macroeconomic figures of Uzbekistan for 2012

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The gross domestic product (GDP) of Uzbekistan made up 96.589 trillion soums in January-December 2012, which grew by 8.2% year-on-year.

State Statistic Committee of Uzbekistan said that the growth of industrial output in the country made up 7.7% and reached 50.731 trillion soums.

In the reporting period, the volume of agriculture output rose by 7% year-on-year in 2012 to 24.37 trillion soums. Investments into fixed capital hit 22.067 trillion soums or grew by 11.6%.

Retail trade turnover of Uzbekistan made up 36.018 trillion soums in 2012, or rose by 13.9% compared to 2011.

Paid services, rendered to population of Uzbekistan, reached 13.745 trillion soums in 2012, which rose by 14.3% year-on-year.
