Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Kyrgyzstan lifted temporary restrictions on imports of construction materials on 29 October 2026, the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan reported.

The restrictions had covered 14 product categories, including construction blocks and bricks, slabs and tiles, glass products and electrical cables.

According to the ministry, the removal of the restrictions creates additional opportunities for Uzbek manufacturers and exporters.

They will be able to increase supplies to Kyrgyzstan, expand trade ties and secure new export contracts.
