Korean Air, Uzbekistan Airways expand codeshare arrangement to mutual free-sale agreement

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Korean Air announced on Monday that it is expanding its codeshare agreement with Uzbekistan Airways.

Effective immediately, the airlines have expanded their codeshare relationship to a mutual free-sale agreement, which will allow both carriers to book and sell seats on the other’s passenger flights without restriction.

Until this expansion the cooperation was one-sided, with only Uzbekistan Airways placing its code on Korean Air flights.

Under the new agreement Korean Air customers can accrue Skypass miles on both Korean Air and Uzbekistan Airways services between Seoul and Tashkent.
