Kogas announces tender for processing seismic data in Uzbek field

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Korea Gas Corporation (Kogas) announced a tender on processing 2D seismic data at investment block at Ustyurt oil and gas region of Uzbekistan.

In line with tender terms, the winner will process old 2D seismic data of 430 km and new 2D seismic data of 567 km at block 13 (within Uzunkui-Tuarkyr investment block in Ustyurt region). The applications can be submitted till 16 July 2012.

Uzbekneftegaz and Kogas signed an agreement on joint research of Uzunkui-Tuarkyr investment block in Ustyurt region in May 2008.

Within the agreement, Korean firm should carry out 2D seismic exploration at 1,100 km and drill two wells in three years.
