KNOC to carry out geological exploration work on two investment blocks in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Korea National Oil Corporation (KNOC) will carry out geological exploration work at the Dekhkanabad and Tashkurgan investment blocks in Uzbekistan.

KNOC and Uzbekneftegaz signed a corresponding agreement on geological exploration at the Dekhkanabad and Tashkurgan investment blocks.

It is expected that the South Korean company will direct US$24.5 million of direct investment for the implementation of this project.

The document was signed within the framework of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Republic of Korea.
