KFC opens its first fast food restaurant in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- International Food Chain, a franchise partner of Yum! Brands (KFC), opened its first food outlet in Uzbekistan.

The first outlet started its work in Buyuk Ipak Yoli street in Tashkent, the company said in a statement.

The outlet offers all the main KFC chicken dishes as well as snacks, sandwiches and desserts, with the chicken served is halal.

The company said it plans to expand number of outlets in Uzbekistan.

Currently, the company imports large part of products from other CIS states. In future, KFC and International Food Chain plan to establish cooperation with local vendors.
