Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — IT Park Uzbekistan and the South Korean company FutureNuri have signed a memorandum of understanding in the field of EdTech and digital technologies. The two sides also discussed FutureNuri's plans to enter the Uzbek market and further develop its activities in Central Asia.

On 10 September 2026, an IT Park Uzbekistan delegation led by executive director Jahongir Rajabov held a meeting with FutureNuri CEO Jeong Ho Choo in Seoul.

During the talks, the two sides examined issues including FutureNuri's registration in Uzbekistan, the opening of an office, obtaining IT Park resident status, the recruitment of local specialists and the organisation of office infrastructure. Available support measures for international technology companies were also discussed.

The MoU signed following the meeting sets out the main areas of further interaction and creates a basis for joint initiatives in EdTech, digital libraries, artificial intelligence-based solutions and digital transformation.

FutureNuri specialises in the development and implementation of digital library platforms, academic information systems and library automation solutions. The company's products are used in around 800 organisations, including universities, public libraries, government and academic institutions.

The company also develops artificial intelligence-based solutions for libraries and knowledge management systems. In January 2026, FutureNuri launched the futurenuri.ai platform, designed for the use of AI in library services and information work.

FutureNuri expressed interest in opening its first overseas office in Uzbekistan and in exploring opportunities to implement new projects in EdTech and digital libraries in Central Asia. The company is also considering the possibility of recruiting local specialists.

IT Park Uzbekistan invited FutureNuri representatives to take part in ICT WEEK Uzbekistan 2026, which will be held on 22–25 September in Tashkent.

As part of the event, the company will be able to familiarise itself with Uzbekistan's technology ecosystem and establish contacts with local organisations and potential partners.

The two sides agreed to continue work on FutureNuri's entry into the Uzbek market, the organisation of local operations and the preparation of new projects in Uzbekistan and Central Asia.
