Istomin progresses to fourth round of Australian Open

In the first round, Istomin defeated world No. 31 Pablo Carreño Busta of Spain with the score 6:4, 4:6, 6:4, 4:6 and 6:2.

The match lasted three hours. Carreño Busta recorded five aces, five double faults and three break-points.

In his turn, Istomin served 16 aces and committee two double faults and registered five break points.

In the fourth round, Istomin will face Grigor Dimitrov of Bulgaria.
