Istomin moves to quarterfinals in Tokyo

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan number one Denis Istomin advanced to quarterfinals of ATP Rakuten Japan Open Tennis Championships in Tokyo, Japan.

In the second round, Denis Istomin defeated Michal Przysiezny of Poland with the score 6/4 and 7/6(5).

The match lasted an hour and 43 minutes. Denis Istomin recorded two breaks and ten aces. Michal Przysiezny won one serve of Istomin and registered six aces and three double faults.

In the quarterfinals, Denis Istomin will play against Milos Raonic of Canada.
