Istomin advances to third round at Challenger

Top-seeded Denis Istomin rolled into the third round of the Levene Gouldin & Thompson Tennis Challenger on Wednesday, topping Go Soeda 6-4, 6-3 in singles play.
Istomin of Uzbekistan is currently 67th in the ATP rankings. He moves on to face sixth-seeded Harel Levy, who topped wild card Blake Strode 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 in another second-round singles match Wednesday.
