Islam Karimov and Dmitriy Medvedev hold information meeting

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov is holding informal meeting with the Russian President Dmitriy Medvedev in Russia.

Uzbek President Islam Karimov arrived in Moscow, Russia, on 19 April, with two-day official visit.

Leaders of two states will consider issues of developing bilateral relations, situation in the region, interaction of Russia and Uzbekistan, etc.

The main events of the visit are scheduled for Tuesday, 20 April. The leaders will hold face-to-face talks and meeting in expanded structure.

It is expected that the sides will sign agreements, directed at expanding bilateral interaction between two states in various spheres.
