Iran leads among countries exporting apples to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- In January-April 2022, 22,400 tons of apples worth US$9.0 million were imported to Uzbekistan from abroad.

Apple imports increased by 22,100 tons, or 19.6 times, compared to the corresponding period in 2021.

Countries that imported the largest number of apples to Uzbekistan in 4 months: 

Iran – 15,200 tons

Poland – 2,200 tons

Moldova – 1,500 tons

Ukraine – 1,800 tons

Turkey - 732.6 tons

China - 523.6 tons

Kazakhstan - 164.3 tons
