Investors withdraw funds for US$1.194 billion from Uzbekistan in 2018

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The volume of repatriations of investments from Uzbekistan made up over US$1.194 billion in 2018 against US$779.8 million in 2017, according to the Central Bank of Uzbekistan.

The regulator said that payments to foreign investors under the PSA increased from US$524.4 million in 2017 to 1.03 billion in 2018.

In 2018, US$166 million was sent to repay debt on loans from parent companies versus US$255.4 million in 2017.
