Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- New tax incentives for jewelry manufacturers have been introduced in Uzbekistan.

According to the Ministry of Justice, the import of precious stones used in the production of jewelry is exempt from value-added tax (VAT).

This benefit will be valid until 1 January 2027.

This measure is aimed at providing domestic jewelry manufacturers with the necessary raw materials and increasing their export potential.
