Hungary’s Central Bank Studies Uzbekistan’s Experience in Payment Systems

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Central Bank of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with a delegation from the Central Bank of Hungary.

The primary goal of the visit was to learn about the development of Uzbekistan’s payment systems and digital financial infrastructure, as well as to exchange expertise.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of financial inclusion, cybersecurity, the introduction of innovative payment solutions, and the implementation of projects with the involvement of the private sector.

The Hungarian delegation also visited several local banks and payment organizations to observe their operations firsthand.
