Humo Payment System Reports Profit Surge in 2025

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The National Interbank Processing Center, operator of the Humo payment system, ended 2025 with a sharp increase in financial performance, reporting a net profit of 312.5 billion soums, up 85.7 percent compared to the previous year.

Revenue also showed significant growth, rising by 101.9 percent to 629.0 billion soums. In the fourth quarter alone, profit amounted to 88.5 billion soums, an increase of 80.7 percent year-on-year.

The company’s key balance sheet indicators also strengthened. Total assets grew to 714.4 billion soums, up 64.3 percent annually, while equity increased to 625.6 billion soums, reflecting a 69.5 percent rise.

Retained earnings reached 452.7 billion soums, more than doubling with a 122.7 percent increase.

Earlier, in January 2025, it was reported that 100 percent of the state’s stake in the Humo payment system was transferred to Paynet following a privatization process. The buyer acquired the asset for US$65 million, becoming the winning bidder in the tender.
