How much did the gross value added of industry increase in 2021?

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- In the industry, an increase in value added by 8.7% is observed. The positive dynamics in this industry is mainly due to the growth in the value added of the mining and quarrying industry by 10.7% (in 2020 - a decrease of 22.0%, in 2019 - a decrease of 0.6%) and the manufacturing industry by 8.2 % (in 2020 - by 7.9%, in 2019 - by 6.6%).

The electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning industry also showed positive growth of 13.0% against growth of 6.8% in 2020 and 5.1% in 2019. 

The value added of water supply, sewerage, waste collection and disposal showed a decrease of 17.7% (in 2020 - a decrease of 0.9%, in 2019 - an increase of 2.2%).
