GM to open institution for educating specialists

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- US automobile giant General Motors plans to open an institution designed for educating specialists who will work in GM’s engine production factory.

Vice-President of the new joint enterprise, GM Powertrain Uzbekistan, Mike Arkamone said that the company plans to build a Tashkent institution for training specialists.

He emphasized that the institution will be of "university type", meaning that the institution will be a high education institution.
