German company to build photoelectric power plant in Jarkurgan district for US$500 million

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The German company Graess Energy Uzde will build a 600 MW photoelectric power plant in Jarkurgan district of Surkhandarya region. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of Uzbekistan.

An agreement was reached on 3 February. The cost of the project will be US$500 million. The photoelectric power plant will be built in Jarkurgan region.
