Friendly match between Uzbekistan and Turkey cancelled

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- A friendly match between Uzbekistan and Turkey, which should be held in Tashkent on 14 August, was cancelled, Turkish Football Federation (TFF) said.

The TFF said in its statement that the match was cancelled due to unexpected weather conditions and namely extreme heat in Uzbekistan.

The statement added that Uzbekistan Football Federation in its letter to the TFF noted that they could not provide the full requirements.

The TFF stated that Turkey national team now will host a friendly match against Ghana in Istanbul on 14 August.

The Uzbekistan Football Federation did not comment the decision.
