Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan met with the Chairman of the Committee on Homeland Security and Government Affairs of the U.S. Senate

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On 25 August 2023, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Chairman of the Committee on Homeland Security and Government Affairs of the U.S. Senate Gary Peters. 

According to Uzbek Foreign Ministry, the agenda of the talks covered a number of topics of mutually beneficial cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United States of America.

The Minister expressed his gratitude to the American partners for their continued support of Uzbekistan’s comprehensive reform agenda under the leadership of the President of Uzbekistan.  

Senator Gary Peters‘ readiness to strengthen ties of Uzbekistan business communities with their counterparts in the State of Michigan and the entire U.S. was highly appreciated.
