Fitch affirms and withdraws Kazakh city of Astana’s ratings

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Fitch Ratings affirmed the Kazakh City of Astana’s Long-term foreign and local currency ratings at ’BBB-’ respectively.

The Short-term foreign currency rating is affirmed at ’F3’ and the National Long-term rating is affirmed at ’AA(kaz)’.

The Outlook on the Long-term foreign currency rating is Negative, whilst the Outlooks on the Long-term local currency and National Long-term ratings are Stable. Fitch has simultaneously withdrawn the ratings.

The agency will no longer provide ratings or analytical coverage of the City of Astana, Fitch Ratings said.
