Fire at Construction Site in Yangi Tashkent Extinguished

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A fire involving construction materials at the upper part of a construction site in Yangi Tashkent was fully extinguished on 8 September, with no injuries reported, the press service of Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations said.

The fire was reported through the 112 emergency system. Fire and rescue crews promptly arrived at the scene and began extinguishing the flames.

The fire was fully brought under control at 3:40 p.m.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, no information about injuries resulting from the fire had been received.
