Ferghana Region, Jiangnan Group Discuss Investments

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Hokim of Ferghana Region, Khayrullo Bozorov, held talks with a delegation of business representatives led by the head of China’s Jiangnan Group, Gu Wenzhu.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the development of mutually beneficial cooperation and the implementation of joint investment projects in the region.

Khayrullo Bozorov noted that relations between Uzbekistan and the People’s Republic of China are dynamically developing across all sectors, with promising investment initiatives being implemented with the participation of Chinese companies.

It was also emphasized that Ferghana Region has created a favorable investment climate, which is contributing to growing confidence from international businesses and the launch of new enterprises with foreign capital participation.

The sides exchanged views on prospective projects in areas including technopark development, construction, logistics, furniture production, and agriculture.

At the conclusion of the talks, concrete steps were outlined for the further implementation of investment projects in cooperation with Chinese partners.
