Ferghana Region, Belarus Expand Cooperation Talks Meeting

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —Officials from Uzbekistan’s Ferghana region and the Ambassador of Belarus held talks in Ferghana, reaffirming that relations between Uzbekistan and Belarus are steadily developing with strong political support from the leadership of both countries and entering a new stage of cooperation.

The sides noted that in recent years bilateral cooperation has taken on a broader and more comprehensive character, while interregional ties have shown stable growth and created a foundation for implementing promising projects of mutual interest.

Particular attention was given to the development of trade, economic, and investment cooperation. The discussions covered areas including agriculture, industry, tourism, exports, and logistics.

Business representatives operating in the region also took part in the talks. They discussed opportunities for launching new investment initiatives and expanding business contacts.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to further strengthen cooperation through the exchange of delegations, the organization of video conferences and business forums, and the development of new joint projects in the future.
