Ferghana Industrial Investment Projects Discussed

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The governor of Ferghana region, Khayrullo Bozorov, held a meeting with a delegation from the Singapore-registered international trading and consulting company Hsinup International Pte. Ltd., led by Lin Minxiang.

The discussions focused on planned investment projects intended for implementation in the region.

The two sides reviewed prospects for launching new production facilities in Ferghana region.

Regional officials noted that several large-scale projects involving foreign investors are already being implemented in the region. They also highlighted a favorable business environment and broad opportunities for investors.

Lin Minxiang said he had studied the region and business conditions during a two-day visit and expressed an intention to establish a plant in Ferghana for the production of sheet metal and metal structures. He also considered launching production of heavy sheet metal products and related industrial activities.

Special attention was given to the creation and development of industrial zones. Participants noted that these initiatives are important for localizing metallurgical production and creating new jobs in the region.

At the end of the meeting, the two sides agreed to continue cooperation and accelerate the implementation of the discussed investment projects.
