International Welding School to Open in Namangan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — An international school of welding will open in Namangan under a practical cooperation agreement signed between the Migration Agency of Uzbekistan and Slovakia's Welding Research Institute (VÚZ).

The project provides for establishing a modern international welding school where training will be organized in accordance with global standards. Qualified specialists from Slovakia and other European countries are planned to be engaged in the educational process.

The project partner, VÚZ, is a Slovak research institute in the field of welding with a 75-year history.

The institute is authorized to conduct international certification of specialists in accordance with standards established by the International Institute of Welding (IIW) and the European Welding Federation (EWF).

Under the terms of the agreement, graduates of the school will be eligible to receive international IIW/EWF certifications, enabling them to seek high-paying employment opportunities in developed countries.
