Father-in-law cuts off daughter-in-law’s head in Ferghana

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- A 64-year-old man killed his daughter-in-law in Ferghana region. He cut off her head.

Press Secretary of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Uzbekistan Khayot Shamsutdinov confirmed this incident, which occurred on 1 October 2022.

The man and the bride quarreled. The man hit the girl, and she lost consciousness.

Later, the man drove the girl to a nearby district in a car and cut off her head. He hid the body in a landfill, and the severed head in the territory of one of the farms.

The prosecutor’s office opened a criminal case under Article 97 (Deliberate murder). The man is arrested.
