Emapta Eyes Uzbekistan for Global Service Operations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — International outsourcing company Emapta is considering Uzbekistan as a potential location for expanding its global service operations.

The possibility of establishing a local presence and launching pilot projects was discussed by Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov, representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan, and Emapta Founder and CEO Tim Vorbach.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Global Business Services Forum 2026. The sides discussed prospects for developing Emapta's service operations in Uzbekistan, training qualified specialists and implementing pilot projects.

Representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan presented the country's potential as a location for international service centres. They highlighted the availability of skilled personnel, competitive business costs, government support measures, and opportunities to jointly train specialists with universities and through IT Park educational programmes.

Emapta was founded in 2010 and provides outsourcing, Employer of Record and distributed team management services. The company has more than 10,000 employees, with an operational network spanning countries in Asia, Latin America and Europe. Its clients include organisations from the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

As part of further cooperation, the sides considered establishing dedicated teams in Uzbekistan and potentially opening an Emapta operational centre.

They also discussed preparing a roadmap and identifying promising areas for cooperation.
