Earthquake felt in Ferghana Valley

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The Republican Center for Seismic Predictive Monitoring of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that on 23 February 2023, at 16:24 Tashkent time (23 February 2023, 11:24 GMT), an earthquake occurred in Tajikistan. 

Earthquake coordinates are 38.2 degrees north latitude; 73 degrees east longitude. Magnitude M=5. Depth 10 km. The distance from the epicenter to Tashkent is 470 km in a southeasterly direction.

The strength of tremors in the territory of Uzbekistan:

Ferghana region: 2 points, 264 km.

Andijan region: 2 points, 292 km.
