Lacetti Driver Dies After Crashing Into Tree in Chirchiq

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A driver was killed in a road accident in Chirchiq early on 24 July after losing control of his Lacetti and crashing into a tree.

The accident occurred at about 6:30 a.m. on the 27th kilometre of the D006 Tashkent–Chirchiq–Chimgan highway, which passes through the city.

According to preliminary information, the 31-year-old driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to leave the roadway and collide with a tree.

The driver died at the scene from his injuries. Passengers travelling in the vehicle were taken to the city's medical association for treatment.

Officers from Chirchiq's internal affairs authorities are conducting investigative procedures and establishing the circumstances of the accident.
