Denis Istomin bows out in first round of Wimbledon

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan number one Denis Istomin failed to progress to the second round of the Wimbledon in London, Great Britain.

In the first round match against Albert Ramos-Vinolas from Spain, Istomin retired at the score 2:6, 2:6 and 3:6 in favour of Spaniard.

The match lasted an hour and 22 minutes. During this time, Istomin served two aces and could not convert three break points.

In his turn, Albert Ramos-Vinolas recorded three aces, one double fault and five break points.
