Credit portfolio of People’s Bank reaches 307bn soums

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Credit portfolio of the Khalq Banki (People’s Bank) of Uzbekistan increased by 64.6 billion soums in the first quarter of 2009 to 307.2 billion soums.

The main part of credits was directed to agriculture, industry, transport, communication, trade and other priority sectors of economy.

The bank allocated credits for 7 billion soums to businesses in line with the State Programme on the Year of Development and Well-Being of Village.
