Central Asian economic body discusses customs issues in Tajik capital

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The seventh session of the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) programme’s committee on customs cooperation started in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, on 15 September.

Participants were discussing issues of transit, the simplification of customs procedures and risk management within the CAREC.

The CAREC members are Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
