Boxers from Uzbekistan win eight medals at Universiade

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Boxers of Uzbekistan clinched eight medals of various value at the World Summer Universiade in Kazan, Russia.

Five boxers of Uzbekistan reached finals of the Universiade. In particular, Hasanboy Dusmatov (-49 kg), Fazliddin Gaibnazarov (-60 kg), Hurshidbek Normatov (-69 kg), Azizbek Abdugofurov (-75 kg) and Rustam Tulaganov (-91 kg) reached finals of the tournament.

At the same time, Jasurbek Latipov (-52 kg), Elshod Rasulov (-81 kg) and Mirzohidjon Abdullaev (over 91 kg) lost in semifinals and won bronze medals of the Games.
