Belarus Prime Minister Visits Uzbekistan Agricultural Expo

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Turchin visited an exhibition dedicated to Uzbekistan’s investment and economic potential at the CAEx Exhibition Complex in Tashkent, held as part of the fifth Tashkent International Investment Forum.

During the tour of the Ministry of Agriculture’s exhibition, attention was focused on ongoing reforms in the agricultural sector, recent results, and future development priorities.

Minister of Agriculture of Uzbekistan Ibrokhim Abdurakhmanov presented information on the modernization of the agricultural sector, the introduction of modern agrotechnologies, and the integration of scientific developments and innovations into production.

The exhibition showcased projects in fruit and vegetable production, seed development, livestock farming, food security, deep processing of agricultural products, and expansion of export potential. The investment initiatives, based on modern technologies, attracted significant interest from the Belarusian delegation.

Following the visit, it was noted that Belarus highly appreciated Uzbekistan’s progress in modernizing agriculture and attracting investment into the sector as part of ongoing reforms.
