Average Monthly Pension in Uzbekistan Triples Over Decade

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The average monthly pension in Uzbekistan reached 1.6492 million soums in 2025, expanding by 3.3 times compared to 2016, according to Uzbekistan's National Statistics Committee.

Data from the agency shows that the average monthly pension stood at 494,200 soums in 2016. The figure rose to 556,800 soums in 2017 and reached 640,500 soums in 2018.

In 2019, the average pension amounted to 733,200 soums, increasing to 848,500 soums in 2020 and 963,600 soums in 2021.

The indicator crossed the 1-million-soum mark in 2022 to reach 1.0808 million soums, before rising to 1.2345 million soums in 2023.

The most notable growth during the period occurred in 2024, when the average monthly pension grew to 1.4956 million soums. In 2025, the figure increased by an additional 153,600 soums to reach 1.6492 million soums.

Between 2016 and 2025, the average monthly pension grew by 1.155 million soums from 494,200 soums to 1.6492 million soums. In relative terms, the increase represents growth of approximately 233.7 percent, bringing the final 2025 figure to roughly 3.3 times the level recorded in 2016.
