Arnest Launches Cosmetics Plant in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Russia’s Arnest Group has launched a new export-oriented facility in Uzbekistan for the production of cosmetics and home care products, the company’s press service reported.
The project is being implemented under the Arnest UniRus structure and is named Unigroup Navoiy. The production site is located in the Navoi Free Economic Zone within the Navoi Industrial Development Complex special industrial park.
The official launch took place during the sixth International Industrial Exhibition “INNOPROM. Central Asia 2025” in Tashkent.
The company said the project is its first overseas production asset focused on markets in Central Asia and beyond.
Total investment in the project amounts to 5 billion rubles. The bulk of the funds—about 4.2 billion rubles—has been allocated to high-tech equipment procurement and the creation of engineering infrastructure. An additional 800 million rubles were used to acquire intellectual property rights for 23 trademarks registered in 40 countries.
The initial production capacity of the facility is 85 million units per year. The plant is designed to operate a full-cycle production line for cosmetics and home care products under brands including Chistaya Liniya, Black Pearl, Velvet Hands, Timotei and Tiswell.
The project also includes vertical integration through in-house production of plastic packaging.
The launch of the facility is seen as part of the company’s broader strategy to expand its manufacturing and export base in the region.
