An earthquake occurred in Andijan region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The Republican Center for Seismic Predictive Monitoring of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that an earthquake occurred on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan on 5 December 2022 at 07:07 local time.

The epicenter was in Asaka district of Andijan region. Earthquake coordinates: 40.65 degrees north latitude; 72.24 degrees east longitude. Magnitude M=3.4. Depth 15 km. The distance from the epicenter to Tashkent is 263 km in a southeasterly direction.
